When Haldir entered his home (Y/n) smiled up at him from where she lounged on the couch with a book in her lap. "Didn't you have night patrol?" She asked kindly, he knew she missed patrolling the borders of Lothlórien. "I thought I'd stop by so that we could eat together." He answered, she knew he meant to make sure she ate- she couldn't exactly get up and get the food herself. "You didn't have to, I would've been alright to wait till morning." She said softly, she hated depending on him for things and easily felt bad when he he went out of his way to do things for her.
Eversince the accident (Y/n) had lost all function in her legs. Before the accident she had also been a Marchwarden of Lothlórien and the only woman to have reached such a high position in the Lórien guard. She had no family and Haldir was her closest friend so he offered that she come and stay with him, at least he could take care of her.
